Note however, that RFC3490 opens up the possibility of homograph attacks. They suggest using trustbar in Mozilla or Firefox to show the punycoded (the value actually sent to the DNS server, eg. バカ.tbble.net is the same as xn--lckwd.tbble.net) web site address. Of course, this takes half the fun out of RFC3490, the same way spammers took half the fun out of email.
